This trip was booked with Uncle Chong months ahead...
unfortunately, he double booked us and we ended up with this
boatman by the name of Ah Soon (or Shun)

Faith on Uncle Chong's boat has been restored....

Angler of the day......BRY with his Golden Trevally
One interesting fact of the golden trevally....the adults
sometimes tend take nibble on the bait as if it was a small
fish on the line. With a successful strike, there's no immediate
awareness and very little resistance from the fish.

Uncle Chong's Bo@t - 12th June 2015

This trip full house ...
BRY, HN, DS, KL, KYL, AN,ALX, ASH, FJ and ED.

This trip everyone is focus on trying to out do each other...
so only snapped those memorable hook ups.....

Bluespotted Ribbontail Ray by FJ

Mr Chong using his parang on this pari...


While timid and innocuous towards humans,
the Bluespotted Ribbontail Ray is capable of inflicting an
excruciating wound with its venomous tail spines.

This fish is also commonly known as Kachi and often seen in wet markets

a skill many experienced fisherman still trying to master.

he gave up his fishing rod and became a Deckhand for the rest
of the day assisting with other people's catch....
