asking me to sharpen his skills so that

he can land a bigger catch than his mom....HN

The problem is......I'm also trying to beat his mom's catch

The Langkawi Saga....25th January 2013

BRY had to spend the weekend in Langkawi on a company trip

...so he'd brought along my Shimano Spin Joy telescopic rod

together with some size 2 sinkers and pre-tied paternoster rigs...

Due to strict aviation regulations, the paternoster rigs with hooks

were confiscated as they were considered as sharp objects...

and are not allowed in hand held luggages.....

Many were away or busy with work.

Only 4 came to kill the fishing itch.....

Overall it's a relaxing trip other then the

heavy downpour near to the end of the trip.

Our catches were not laid out for a group shot due

to the weather.........but everyone did catch a few.



Batu Ferringhi 9th to 12th December 2012

A family getaway at Golden Sands, Penang....

tucked in the corner of the luggage is a micro tackle box...

 ....a Shimano retractable rod and a Silstar graphite reel

these were packed for a quickie.....
while the kids are loose at the Adventure Zone

KL booked this trip months ago....but due to work commitments,

only AN, BRY, ALX and FJ manage to take time off.....

 ASH marked on her calendar weeks before this trip

without knowing she has Mathematics paper today.

Birthday boy, DS suffered the same fate when HN couldn't make it.
